After a string of dark ambient works Polish project MJDK turns to something off-the-wall, crazy and eccentric. His "Hymn" looks eclectic enough in the combination of dark ambient canvases behind distorted electronic sounds with prolonged speeches and Scorn-like illbient loops. And the core of the work, more-than-fifteen-minutes Coil-inspired escapist track adds more diversity to this weird and somewhat unreal work.
"The song "Hymn" (Anthem in Polish) is inspired by the French movie "La prochaine fois je viserai le coeur" (2014).
I love Phallus Dei music and courtesy of Mr. Oliver St. Lingam I could record a remix of the song "Will You Come Now".
"Filokles & Lykofron" is a tribute to the incredible project Coil. At all costs, I decided to record something in their style.
The song "London" was recorded during my stay in the capital of the United Kingdom.
"Inception" is a veritable frenzy with a speech of one of my philosophical guru Alan Watts."

Darkness and Silence is a musical project started in 2005 by myself, Mateusz Jędrzejczak (born 1988 in Mikołów, Poland), when I was 17 years old. My project D&S is principally dark ambient with an experimental fusion of other genres like industrial, martial and minimalism. Musically I draw my influences from Lustmord, Toroidh and William Basinski. The music is created with Fruity Loops Studio and many other VSTi and FX generators. Vocal samples are sourced from the movies of Andrei Tarkovsky, Pier Paolo Pasolini and Klaus Kinski, amongst others. The music is a consideration of art, history and philosophy. Emotionally it touches on the themes of loneliness, psychopathy and degeneration too. In 2008 I ran the Polish Netlabel Far From Showbiz, but in early 2009 I helped found and now run Übermensch Industry Records along with the American artist Craig Danielson of Deadhorsemort. From a young age I have recorded underground techno as Trauma Cerebrum. Which I released initially on Brainkillaz-Records (Tesseract Collective). My first release was at the age of 14.

On this act we're happy to present DARKNESS AND SILENCE, Polish project known in some circles of dark ambient music. The project has a number of recordings but it's for the first time that we have a chance to get to know it on a cd. The album "The Traumatization and Torture of The Victim" is a 50 minute grim dark ambient music. Black and heavy, sick and perverted and terrifying sounds.
Unconventional release. Stripe of black cardboard with fotos depicting album cover, folded in three parts. All in red wrapper, charecteristic for all six acts. Professionally printed CDR mounted on a rubber dot to the black cardboard. All hand made and numbred from 334 to 444, limited to 111 copies.

Aut Vincere Aut Mori" is martial/dark ambient/drone music with atmosphere of World War II. Speeches of totalitarian leader, marches, atmosphere of desolation and overwhelming void. Album lasts for one hour and it's like echo from long forgotten past. For those who didn't listen to Darkness And Silence yet, we can tell that there are some similarities between D&S and swedish project Toroidh. It will describe in the best way sound samples, music and atmosphere. The major difference are drones made by D&S.
Tracks 8 and 9 are recorded in collaboration with Retro. Retro used samples from 'Tomhet' [Burzum] as base of these tracks.
